In 1981 we purchased our first Andalusian, a magnificent bay stallion "LISONJERIO".

What an honour to become one of the first Andalusian owners in British Columbia at the time, and to begin this exciting equine adventure with such a kind and gentle example of this regal breed.

We welcomed our first purebred  Andalusian mare to the farm in 1984 and were thrilled to witness the arrival of our first purebred Andalusian foal in May of 1987.

Thus began our journey with these beautiful animals....

Reed's Andalusians is now home to two purebred Andalusian mares who we have had the opportunity to breed to the beautiful bay stallion "Gaston". (Gaston's sire is the  legendary stallion "Bravio XVI").

"Marro Esencia".... a tall and elegant mare with excellent confirmation, a heart of pure gold, and the lovely action of the Andalusian.

In 2006 "Marro Esencia" presented us with a handsome colt "Casimir" (sired by Gaston) who with his generous height, floating suspension and calm outlook on all things, seems destined for a future in the dressage arena.

And our second mare "Amaretta".... a very compact and correct mare with classic Andalusian beauty, action, and agility.

Father's day of 2007 was the day Amaretta gave birth to an incredibly classic filly, "Amarantha" (also sired by Gaston).  This young girl continues to amaze and delight us with her "airs above the ground", breathtaking action and extremely bold personality.

We have youngsters available for purchase, and vistors are always welcome!
